This is what I see when I look at many Americans today. The physical iron chains have been replaced with taxes, debt, laws, regulations, and restrictions of all kinds on your liberty, but the fact is you are, we all are slaves of the government. And what really pisses me off is that many of you VOTED FOR THIS MADNESS! By doing so you have dragged the rest of us along with you and for people who are always chattering on about "fairness" that hardly seems fair to me.
We are a Republic. In a Republic your inalienable rights are to be inviolate. In other words, no matter what the majority votes for, your rights cannot be taken from you. Period! Ah, but thank you public education system for indoctrinating the past few generations into believing that we are a "Democracy" and thus majority rules. So, inalienable is out the window and your rights can and will be violated by the mob. Oh well, you reap what you sow.
