Do you think that we, Americans, should get back to "Citizen-legislators", and away from "Professional Politicians"?
Yes, citizen-legislators are what our Nation's founders had in mind.
No, only professional politicians know how to run the government.

More Bills

This letter was sent to all three Federal representatives. The text was the same.

The Honorable
John W. Warner
SR 225
Washington, D.C. 20510

Dear Mr. Warner,

I trust this letter finds you faring well. I write regarding pending legislation.

I see no need to pontificate about my feelings regarding said legislation. I will get right to the point as to which bills I support and which bills I do not support.

I SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING:

HR 1276 (Roscoe Bartlett - R.-MD)
S. 187
S. 388
S. 499
HR 93
S. 504
S. 458
S. 608
HR 1189
HR 816

I OPPOSE THE FOLLOWING:

S. 496
S. 653
S. 639
HR 1472
HR 544
S. 892

While I do not know the bill numbers I also oppose any attempt to raise my taxes, NO MATTER WHAT NAME IT IS PRESENTED UNDER! I did not create the deficit and I do not feel compelled to sacrifice my meager earnings to help solve a problem that I did not create.

I also oppose any form of government subsidized healthcare. I feel that the private sector can handle this quite well. It is not the governments responsibility to see that I or anyone else has healthcare.

Thank you for your attention to my letter. I trust that you will do the right thing regarding each of the bills mentioned. In closing, I remain, Sir,

yours for freedom,

Floyd C. Bayne
