Re: The IRS and it’s abuses

Dear Sirs:

I chose this format, as opposed to a separate letter to each of you, because it is simple and to the point. Also, the content would have been the same to each of you.

Please read the enclosed copies of recent newspaper articles from the Richmond Times-Dispatch (editorial from 3/22/95 - Welcome to the Camp & article from 3/18/95 - New IRS audits to probe lifestyle by Vivian Marino). Unless you are prepared to tell me that the articles are inaccurate or outright lies I would ask a simple question of each of you, What are you doing to strip the IRS of it’s ability to continually tread upon the rights and liberties of American citizens?

This type of police state government action must be stopped. The IRS should and MUST BE ABOLISHED! Which among you has the courage to propose and work for such an ideal? When will these atrocities stop? How can any of you justify your silence in the face of such abuse of power?

I have suffered at the hands of the IRS and it’s inept policies and personnel. I know whereof I speak. I wish to know what my representatives are going to do about it. I look forward to hearing something substantive from each of you regarding this matter.
